Our partnership with Xinova is providing the necessary elements to position us for ongoing success on a global scale.
— Dan Belliveau, CF Global Holdings Founder and CEO
Xinova ferried a visionary food innovation, Coffee Flour, across every phase of the innovation life-cycle, from idea to producton-shelf, first in Japan and now in nine countries. Commercializing Coffee Flour required expansive use of Xinova’s diverse network to access the funding, technology, and expertise necessary for transforming a great idea into a scalable, high-growth-potential product with far-reaching benefits to local economies and ecologies.
Each year, when coffee beans are separated from their surrounding coffee cherries, about a billion pounds of the remaining fruit pulp is dumped into rivers or left to decompose. Inventor Dan Belliveau developed a process that converts coffee cherry pulp into a gluten-free super-ingredient, Coffee Flour. But he lacked resources and expertise to commercialize his transformative innovation.
It takes a long-term commitment and a vast network of expertise to turn an idea into a product, and find its best international markets. The Xinova global innovation network aligned key players in the food process supply chain, including distributors and grower-producer companies around the globe. Business development talent was recruited, and concept development facilities were accessed. The Coffee Cherry Company will provide fresh culinary possibilities to kitchens worldwide while benefiting the environment and adding income and jobs for small coffee farmers and their local economies.
Xinova engages with companies of all sizes to solve unique and tough problems.
