TechInnovation is an annual technology-to-industry matching event and marketplace, bringing together technology providers and seekers to explore collaboration opportunities through open innovation. Organized by IPI Singapore since 2012, the two-day conference and exhibition attracts attendance from international and Singapore corporate R&D, research organisations, university tech transfer offices, IP intermediaries, technology translators, multi-national corporations, small & medium enterprises and public agencies.
TECHINNOVATION is a premier technology-industry brokerage event organised by IPI. It brings together international and Singapore technology providers and seekers to explore technology and business collaboration opportunities through open innovation. In its eighth year since its inception in 2012, it has grown to become a leading conference and exhibition in Singapore that focuses on the matching of industry’s needs to enabling technologies.
Xinova participated at this year’s edition as first-time exhibitor to showcase our products and effort in supporting global R&D. Held on 18-19 September 2018 at Marina Bay Sands, our booth attracted curious visitors who were fascinated with our innovator network and risk & upside sharing approach with our customers.
Over two days, Xinovians from the Singapore office engaged with attendees from startups, SMEs, MNCs and educational institutions with the goal of raising awareness of Xinova’s presence and activities globally. Kong Guan Dumpling Pte Ltd, Singapore’s largest steamed dumpling manufacturer was particularly interested in the ‘Transformational Snacks for Home’ RFI that Xinova completed for PepsiCo and is keen to explore ways to develop new snack products that capture new markets. Others like P&G, Rolls Royce, Keppel, Grab (Singapore) and 
Food Futures (Australia) also visited the booth and were introduced to Xinova’s capability to solve problems across a diverse range of sectors and geographical locations.
Academic institutions like Universiti Brunei Darussalam (Brunei), Sabanci Universitesi (Turkey), Adamson University (Philippines), Mahidol University (Thailand) and several innovation networks- such as Enterprise Network Europe and Redit Innovation Network- present at the event were enthused by the opportunity to gain visibility to challenging opportunities and the potential for upsides when they contribute solutions to solve problems from our customers.
With the numerous exciting leads generated from this matchmaking event, we hope to spur network and customer growth both locally and regionally.
