Xinova is seeking innovators to work in two parallel Rapid Innovation Session (RIS) teams. 

 

Teams will be led by a facilitator and will be conducting research, ideation, and rough preliminary experiments to find the most promising solutions. Innovators will also prepare reports describing the experimental work as well as the final solutions and share these reports directly with Xinova’s client. The RIS will run from January 2, 2020, to March 31, 2020.

Requirements:

Applicants must meet the requirements below in order to apply:

  • Expertise in at least one of the following:
    • Food science
    • Food processing
    • Formulations
    • Extrusion (and other process technologies)
    • Fiber formation (e.g. paper/paperboard, food, clothing)
    • Biochemistry (especially: enzymes, cross-linking)
    • Knowledgeable about meat alternatives and plant-based proteins
    • Experience in client-facing role Î Available from January 2, 2020 – March 31, 2020
      • ~60 hours, working remotely
      • Attend conference calls with team, and with Xinova and client
    • Bonus: Access to basic lab and kitchen equipment suitable for this project.

Payment:

Innovators will be paid a flat fee of $6,250, with the possibility for additional hourly payments for performing preliminary experiments as determined by the team facilitator and Xinova.
