Xinova is seeking a biology or food scientist who is up-to-date on the latest technologies for generating fibers from plant-based proteins.
The Opportunity focuses on writing a short report on the latest technologies or approaches for generating fibers from plant-based proteins at either the nano- or micro-scale. If selected, you will be asked to describe the most recent research findings in this field (<5 years old) as well as their potential food-based applications. The report should additionally highlight any technical gaps in these methodologies and potential next steps for the field. All work will be conducted remotely by the expert, with the report generated in Xinova’s preferred format.
Applicant Requirements
- Expertise in:
- biochemistry
- food chemistry and formulations
- Ability to source research articles and journals in the field
- Able to synthesize information in an easily understood way for a broad audience
- Available to complete the task by December 9
Time and Compensation
- Final report must be submitted by December 9th, 2019
- Expected time for work to be completed: 10-12 hours
- Compensation of $1,000 USD
