New technology is needed to reliably measure an oven’s cooking performance using food-based biomaterials (or appropriate mimics or surrogates) to assign a calibration value for classification. The solution for calibration should be able to be performed in an easy, safe and simple manner by the consumer.
The calibration value will be used for adjusting Innit’s Adaptive Cooking Programs for Wi-Fi-connected ones, ensuring optimal and consistent cooking outcomes.
Solutions that require manufacturers to change hardware design to accommodate the calibration step (such as the inclusion of a connector) are out of scope. Solutions that require control of oven components or use of a calibration program uploaded to one via WiFi are acceptable.
