Pioneer Square is bursting with opportunities to indulge in good eats and interesting art. Here’s a (completely subjective) list of our top 10.
1 – Stop by Intrigue on the first Thursday of each month for a cup of their “Zombie Drinking Chocolate” made from the scraps of the past month’s unused chocolate.
2 – First Thursday Art Walk is a MUST! After the Zombie Chocolate has been consumed, check out any number of the free galleries. Here’s a list of participating galleries & venues.
3 – Check out the rotating exhibit at Mount Analogue, an interdisciplinary publishing studio, small press book shop, and installation gallery.
4 – Duck into the Estates Wine Room for a glass after a hard day’s work, or better yet, become a member and invite your colleagues to join you for occasional wine tastings!
5 – If you’ve lived in Seattle for this long and you haven’t done the underground tour… you should!
6 – Bring your lunch to the Waterfall Garden Park for a pocket of zen amongst the bustle.
7 – Check out a show at the Comedy Underground.
8 – Eat the Turkey Tatstrami from Tat’s Delicatessen.
9 – Get in line early for lunch at Il Corvo, some of the most highly regarded Italian food in the city with a rotating daily menu.
10 – Try a sumptuous 5-course Thali at Nirmals.
Two convenient places to catch the link:
There is a street car that goes from just outside the office up to Capitol Hill with a number of stops on the way:
There are tons of bus stops within a couple blocks. Use the King County trip planner to see which stop will work for you.
