Pioneer Square is bursting with opportunities to indulge in good eats and interesting art. Here’s a (completely subjective) list of our top 10.
– Stop by Intrigue on the first Thursday of each month for a cup of their “Zombie Drinking Chocolate” made from the scraps of the past month’s unused chocolate.
– First Thursday Art Walk is a MUST! After the Zombie Chocolate has been consumed, check out any number of the free galleries. Here’s a list of participating galleries & venues.
– Check out the rotating exhibit at Mount Analogue, an interdisciplinary publishing studio, small press book shop, and installation gallery.
– Duck into the Estates Wine Room for a glass after a hard day’s work, or better yet, become a member and invite your colleagues to join you for occasional wine tastings!
– If you’ve lived in Seattle for this long and you haven’t done the underground tour… you should!
– Bring your lunch to the Waterfall Garden Park for a pocket of zen amongst the bustle.
– Check out a show at the Comedy Underground.
– Eat the Turkey Tatstrami from Tat’s Delicatessen.
– Get in line early for lunch at Il Corvo, some of the most highly regarded Italian food in the city with a rotating daily menu.
– Try a sumptuous 5-course Thali at Nirmals.
