Jose Chacon
Vice President of Finance and Accounting
Jose Chacon is Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Xinova. He joined the company almost two years ago and has been an integral part of the finance organization working to develop and standardize financial-accounting procedures and business strategies. Jose has a 15+ year track record of strong business and financial results.
Before joining Xinova, he worked for more than 10 years with Procter & Gamble in various corporate forecasting and financial analysis roles, managing $2B+ budgets for most of P&G’s business units. He had the opportunity to work in multiple global and local organizations including Global Treasury, Global Business Services, and North America Logistics.
Jose has deep knowledge in financial systems, and he was part of the Treasury leadership team responsible for integrating one of P&G’s major acquisitions, Gillette, into their financial systems. He also was responsible for leading the transition of multiple finance organizations from South America and Europe to America. In his last role with P&G, Jose was responsible for the financials of P&G’s newest, multimillion-dollar, distribution network that supported their biggest clients.
Jose received his MBA from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Costa Rica. He is an active judge of the Executive MBA Business Plan Competition at University of Washington and serves as a mentor for young entrepreneurs.
